Product Introduction
Calstar fully automated solvent recovery units are available for recycling solvents with a relatively high boiling point that may exceed the normal operating range of solvent recyclers. By placing the system under vacuum assist, the boiling point of the waste solvent is lowered substantially, allowing efficient processing of a normally high-boiling waste solvent. As a general rule, any solvent or solvent blend with a boiling point over 150°C (350°F) will require the vacuum assist option. Calstar offers air-powered vacuum assist option which is much more suitable to recover solvents with flammable or explosive characteristic.
