Selection Guide for NMP Solvent Recovery Equipment
I. Key Performance Indicators and Selection Points
Processing Capacity: Select based on the volume of waste liquid generated (e.g., 100L/h, 500L/h, 1 ton/day, etc.).
Recovery rate: Usually over 95%, the higher the better.
Product purity: Generally, it can reach over 99.5%, and for lithium battery grade, the requirement is even higher than 99.9%, with water content < 100 ppm.
Energy consumption: It is the key to operating costs, with attention paid to heating methods (electricity, steam, heat transfer oil), heat recovery design and vacuum system efficiency.
Degree of automation: High automation reduces labor costs and enhances safety and stability.
Material: The parts in contact with NMP should be made of high-quality stainless steel (such as 304/316L) to ensure corrosion resistance and product cleanliness.
Safety: Explosion-proof design (NMP is a flammable liquid), nitrogen protection, and a complete alarm and shutdown system.
II. Main Application Industries
Lithium battery industry (the largest market): It is used for the recovery of NMP waste gas condensate generated in the electrode coating (positive and negative electrodes) process. This is currently the most in-demand field.
Electronic industry: Recovery of cleaning agents used in the production of PCBs and liquid crystal panels.
Polymer and coating industry: Solvents used in the production of PVDF, aramid, polyimide, etc. are recycled.
Pharmaceutical industry: For solvent recovery in reactions.
