After die-casting production, solvents are used to clean mold release agents, cutting oil, die-cast oil stains, and die-cast dust oil stains. The waste solvents from cleaning can be distilled and regenerated using a solvent recovery machine, with the following main advantages:
1. Significantly reduce the procurement cost of cleaning agents
The cleaning of die-castings consumes a large amount of solvent. After distilling the waste solvent, the purified solvent can be reused in the cleaning process, leaving only a small amount of oil residue. This significantly reduces the procurement of new solvent. The larger the die-casting order, the more pronounced the cost savings on consumables become.
2. Ensure stable cleaning quality of die-castings
Repeated use of dirty solvents can lead to oil film residue, whitening, and water marks on the surface of castings, affecting the adhesion of subsequent oil spraying, electroplating, and anodizing processes. Recycled and purified solvents maintain stable cleaning performance, ensuring consistent surface cleanliness of castings and reducing defective rework.
3. Reduce hazardous waste and lower disposal costs
The waste cleaning solvent generated from die-casting is classified as hazardous waste, and its disposal by third parties incurs high costs. The solvent recovery machine recycles the majority of the solvent for reuse, producing only a small amount of distillation residue. This significantly reduces the generation of hazardous waste, directly cutting disposal expenses while meeting environmental compliance requirements.
4. Adapt to the working conditions of the die-casting workshop and improve on-site management
The die-casting workshop has excessive oil contamination, with waste solvent drums piled disorderly, posing risks of volatilization and fire hazards. On-site equipment is used to handle waste solvents, reducing the accumulation of large quantities of solvent drums, minimizing solvent volatilization losses, and improving workshop air quality. Explosion-proof models are adapted to meet the explosion-proof safety requirements of the die-casting workshop.
5. Improve production efficiency
There is no need to frequently purchase and transport large quantities of new solvents or wait for hazardous waste units to remove waste liquid. Regenerated solvents are directly supplied to the cleaning machine for use, ensuring uninterrupted production at the cleaning station and making it suitable for large-volume die-cast part cleaning production lines.
6. Compliance and Environmental Protection, Addressing Safety and Environmental Inspections
Reduce the external discharge of organic solvents, lower VOC emissions, comply with industrial hazardous waste minimization policies, gain advantages in environmental assessments and inspections, and avoid penalties from improper waste liquid storage.
